Children, Ages 3-6
Dates for summer 2007 have not been set
Memories are not made by the number of things that can
be squeezed into a day,
but by those simple moments when time stands stills.
Remember summers when you
laid in the grass and watched clouds float by,
chased butterflies and buried your feet in the warm sand?
Every day flowed gently to the next. In the quiet summer breeze
you could hear bumble bees and smell freshly cut grass.
Perhaps this is a
treasure that shouldn’t be lost, but passed from generation to generation.
Why not give this gift to your little ones this summer?
In the Oakland Steiner
Seeds & Sprouts program, children ages 3-6 experience a slower,
simpler time like we had growing up. Here, opportunities abound for a
child’s natural
exploration of his or her surroundings. Their sense of wonder and
imagination are
stretched with well-spun fairytales, puppet plays and nature walks.
Children will work side
by side with our trained Waldorf teachers to tend the garden,
make nutritious snacks, paint and do everyday household chores.
These simple rhythms give children a sense of contentment
and connection to the world in which they live.
For close
to a century, Waldorf schools around the globe have been working
to safeguard childhood.
If you’ve ever wondered what a Waldorf education
would provide your children, here’s perfect opportunity to find out.
Enroll your child in our Seeds and Sprouts program this summer.
